A good safe Hot Rod starts with a good frame. Our frames start as a pair of rails from American Stamping and laser cut boxing plates. Jig welded with boxing plate going the full length of the frame for maximum strength. Either a Deuce cross-member or a Heidts IFS is in the front and a 2x2 rear coilover mount in back anchor the ends with 1x2 rectangular internal bracing. All bolt holes have a welded nut behind it, even if you are not gonna run fenders. "C" notching available. Rolling chassis have all suspension brackets welded on as are the motor mounts and pedal assembly with Master Cylinder. Rollers also have all brake and fuel lines run, front and rear suspension, 4 wheel disc brakes, radiator and fuel tank installed. A new Ford 9" rear axle housing is mounted by coilovers and 4 bar suspension and the 3rd member completes the assembly, all included. Posi is extra, but available. Chrome or stainless is also an option for that flashy suspension. Straight axle front ends can have either a new vega box or a rack and pinion by Uni-Steer. Power, although not needed is also an option.
The straight axle front end can be had in either I-beam or tube, hairpin or 4-bar. Chrome on either one, and a drilled front axle is available. 4" is the normal drop depending on axle. A front panhard bar is standard. The IFS is a Heidts, with rack and pinion steering and Willwood disc brakes standard, a front sway bar is also included. The front coilovers on this front end are 10 way adjustable billet units with chrome springs, even on the plain front end.
The rear end used in a Ravon car is a brand new housing from John's Nine inch Factory with axles cut to fit the housing. Big Torino bearings on the ends with 11.25" rotors and GM style calipers. The 3rd member is set up with gears and new bearings in an open configuration. Posi is available in either up-to 450 HP or up-to 750 HP for an additional charge.
Transmission choices are up to you, as I make my own frame, I can put the crossmembers where I want and if I have to move the trans hump around A bit, no problem. The clutch pedal is either a manual or Hydraulic (much preferred).
